The quantity catalogued was 146,195 bales, of which there was sold for home consumption 73,000 bales, for the Continent 42,000 bales., and for America 2000 bales. The quantity carried forward is 159,000 hales. There was strong Continental competition for merinos, and, of Home buyers for cros&breds. Compared with the May sales, best greasy merinos and coarse crossbreds were unchanged. Other merinos and fine crossbred's declined 5 per cent.
