THE NATIONAL BANK.

A Press Association cablegram came to hand last night respecting the information which we published on Saturday respecting the annual report of the directors of the National Bank of New Zealand. The directors propose that a dividend of 4- per cent, for the half-year and a bonus of 1 per oent. for the year, making, with the interim dividend paid to the 30th September last, 8 per cent, for the year, be paid to shareholders ; that £20,000 be added to the recerve fund, making it £80,000; that £5000 be written off the promises account, and £7000 be carried forward to next account. The' directors have also decided that the staff be granted a bonus of 10 per cent, on their salaries.
