About one-third of these were good io prime, and two or three pens extra heavy, the balance only very medium. A good demand was experienced all through the sales, and pi ices for good quality slightly higher compared with last week's. The Otago Farmers' Co-operative Association. (Limited) sold porkers for Craig Bros, and others at 12s 6d, 14s, 14s 6d, 265, 28s, and 31s. Sheepskins. — A fetcady demand continues to be experienced at the auction sales. The attendance is good, and all offered find purchasers .it prices on a par with those obtaining lately. Dry crossbreds, inferior to 'medium, fetch Is Gd to 2s 6d; good to full-woolled, 3s 3d to ss; extra heavy do and best fine halfbreds, 5s 3d to 6s 3d ; medium to good merinos, 3s 3d to 5s 3d ; extra heavy, 5s 9d to Gs 6d ; green crossbreds, 3s to 3s 9d.

Rabbitskins. — A very good demand exists for ths few that come to hand, prime winter grey fetching : Mixed, Is Id to Is 2£d ; picked does, Is 3d to Is 3Jd ; medium, 9d to lljd ; inferior to medium, 4d to 8d; suckers and howk-torn, l*d to 3d per lb.

Hides. — Market steady, best ox fetching 3£d to 4Jd; extra heavy, 4Ad; medium, 3d to 3*.d; inferior, 2d to 2Jd per lb. Tallow and Fat. — Consignments meet a ready sale Best rendered mutton, broken packages, fetched 16s 6d to 18s; medium, 14s to 15s 6d; best nrutton caul fat, 13s Gd to 14s; medium, lls 6d to 13s; inferior, 10s to lls per cwt (ex store).

Gram. — Wheat: The position of tho market is slightly firmer, and prices fot- prime milling are fully maintained. Medium has more attention, and" selling freely at prices showing an advance on late quotations. Fowls' wheat is in good request, and readily placed at late ratea. Quotations : For prime milling, 2s 5d to 2s GJd ; medium, 2s 2d to 2s 4d; inferior to medium, Is 6d to 2s Is (ex store, sacks weighed in, terms). Oats: There is no improvement to note. A. very considerable quantity of inferior oats is put on the market, which can only be placed at lo^ prices. The quantity of prime good coloured feed is not; too extensive, and these are easily placed at quotations ; while prims milling are more difficult to quit at late rates. Quotations: For prime milling, Is s^d to Is 6Jd; best light short feed, Is 4Jd to Is sd; medium, Is 3d to Is 3§d; inferior, Dd to Is 2d (ex store, sacks exbra, n&t). Barley can only be placed when extra light and well grown. Discoloured, even if stout, has no attention meantime. Small lots are taken for milling, but the quantity is limited, and, owing tc wheat and oats being so low, feed is almost unsaleable. Quotations: For best maltingi. (Lake), 3s 3d to 3s 6d; good to best, 2s 6d to 3s; medium, nominally, Is 9d to 2s 3d; feed and. milling, Is 3d to is 8d (ex store, sacks extra, net).

Grass Seeds. — There are no transactions of any conseqtience coming under notice at present, though further on in the season a demand will spring up. Quotations: For farmers' best diessed and heavy, Is 4d to Is 6d; light, Is to Is 3d; best machine-dressed (281b to 301b), 2s 6d to 2s 9d : light, 2s to "2s Jkl (ex store, sacks extra). Cocksfoot, in retail lots : Best dressed, 4Jd to sd; medium, 3Jd to 4|d; undressed, ljd to 2M per 1b (ex store, sacks extra, net).

Chaff. — Th market has been more than fully supplied with inferior and medium, which is difficult to place, while really prime, well cut and heavy has fairly good attention. Prime fetches £2 7s 6d to £2 10s; extra heavy, £2 12& 6d ; good to best, £2 5s to £2 7s 6d; medium, £1 37s 6d to £2 2s 6:1; inferior, 27s Gd to 35s per ton (ex trucks, sacks extra).

Potatoes — The supply being is excess of requirements, the market is exceedingly flat, best Derwents only fetching, in small lots, £1 17s 6d to £2; medium, £1 10s to £1 l'7s Gd per ton (ex store, sacks weighed in, net).
