At the Supreme Court to-day Samuel Coleman. by his gnaidian, his father, Robert; Coleman, susd the St. AlbansBoromrh Council for £200 damages. It was alleged on behalf of plaintiff that, in consequence of the negligence of the Borough Council in leaving a heap of road scrapings by the roadside, he had while crossincy the road stumbled over this heap and fallen and broken his left arm in two places. The jury awarded plaintiff £30 damages.
