A NAVAL EXPERIMENT.
LONDON, May 28. The battleship Majestic, at a distance of 1800 yards, sank in a few minutes the coast defence battleship Belle Isle off Selsey Bill. The experiment demonstrated the danger of woodwoik in warships. The Belie Isle was ablaze tAvo minutes after the Majestic commenced firing at her.
