There was a fail attendance of buyers, but bidding was not keen, and many of the lots on offer were passed m. We quote: Prime milling, Is Sd to Is 9d; good to best feed, Is 6d to is 7d ; medium and inferior, Is 5d io Is 6cl per bushel (sacks extra). Wheat. — We offered a quantity of broken and seconds, for which there was no demand, and sold best whole fowl wheat at Is lid to 2s per bushel (sacks in). Potatoes. — The niarkot is heavily supplied, and a poor demand was experienced yesterday, best Derwents realising only £2 per ton (sacks in). Chaff. — We catalogued a quantity of medium, which is entirely out of request, in most cases no offer being received. Prime quality is scarce, and readily placed. We quote : Good to prime, £2 7s 6d to £2 15s ; medium, £2 to £2 5s per xo:i (bags extra). Messrs A. Moritzson and Co. report having held their usual weekly sale of grain and produce on Monday morning. There was only a poor attendance of buyers, and in the ab- > sence of competition had to pass in the bulk of the catalogue. Oats. — -There is no demand, and all lots coming forward are going into store. Maclean and Co. report having held a clraring sale at Pine Hill yesterday o.a behalf of Mr John Camnboll. Mr Campbell's sta^ciing as one of the leading dairymen of Dimedin is so well known that it was, not surprising io see so large a Catherine of buvprs, a'l keen for business. The condition of the stock was excellent and the cruahty unsurpassed, the cows looking perfect piefcm-ps for cleanliness and peneral appearance.
