(From Oub Own Coebesponbent.) CROMWELL, May 26. Dredging matters are quiet. The nvers are falling, and the weather is fro&ty.

The pontoons of the Alpine Consols and Halfway House dredges are nearly completed.

The framing of the Great Central pontoons is in position, and a start will soon be made at planking. The machinery is being put on the Central Electric.

The Cromwell dredge started dredging yesterday.
