RUSSIA IN THE FAR EAST.
LONDON, May 18. The Times Pekin correspondent states that Corea has granted Russia a site at Mesampho Harbour for a coal depot and naval hospital, and has undertaken not tc alienate strategic 'points elsewhere. M. Pavloff, the Russian Minister, has intimated that Mesampho will be made the winter headquarters of tlje fleet. The Times, commenting on this, says the concession is a grave menace to Japan.
