MACKENZIE COUNTY
May 21. — The Mackenzie County Mounted Uiiie Corps will shortly be properly under way. The services o£ the coip<i have been accepted, and on Fridty, May 2S, the meeting for enrolment will be held. The Defence department has bean a lo.ig while in deciding this matter, but though perhaps some oi the first enthusiasm may have' .evaporated, still the sterling backbone of the corps will not have been affected even by the feeing that their cervices were rather despised A full turnout oi prorosed members is reckoned on on Friday. Colonel Bailey is coming up, and some officers of other corps are expected.
