A GOLDEN WEDDING.— SPECIAL SERVICE IN THE SYNAGOGUE. A unique service took place in the synagogue on Sunday afternoon, April 29, the occasion being the celebration of the golden wedding of Mr and Mrs Julius Hyman. Mr Hyman is well known m Dunedin, having been a citizen of this city for the last 38 years, and one who has always taken an interested part in Jewish affairs. He has been 12 years president of the crmmittee of the synagogue, and the members of the committee and the congregation per foi rood a graceful act when they arranged a special service in his honour on his completing his fiftieth year of married life.
