* . -LJ.-1.-i-J \JUiVIXIXU \JIjn.VJVJV/ YY iJiXXILJLJXJLXWIY. In our,»last issue wo gave a full page illustration cf the noble pile of buildings which are reproduced above. Unfortunately through a mif conception the buildings appeared as the Paris Exhibition instead of what they really are — the Exhibition of Glasgow, to be held in the summer of 1901. The mistake was niade in consequence of our having received intimation that a photo of the Paris Exhibition, was being sent to us, while we had no intimation with reference to the Glasgow Exhibition, the letter connected with the latter not reaching us for some days after the photo came to hand, when it was too late for the recessaiy correction to be made. We are indebted to Mr W. J. Crawford, of Glasgow, for this beautiful picture of the Glasgow Exhibitio.i, and Mr Crawford also sends us the interesting article of the coming Glasgow celebration, which will be found elsewhere in this issue. "VVe regret very much that Paris should have received credit in our last, issue for Glasgow's enterprise, and we trust the explanation will be read by all inteiosted in our last week's picture.
