THE SECOND CONTINGENT.
The Premier received a cablegram on the 24-th from Major Cradock, "Victoria road,via Capetown, in which he says that he has returned from Kenhardt after alsooa 1 500 miles' march. Dysentery was prevalent. He was proceeding to Bloemfontein that day, leaving 44 cases behind. No. 522 (Private T. G. Anderson) was a bad case, but all the officers were well.
