" The' committee of the Auckland Provincial Agricultural Association has decided that the president and secretary should represent the association at the Agricultural Conference to be held in-Wellington in June. The National Sheep" Breeders' Association wrote asking that the association send a representative to its conference at York, on June 16, 1900, and if the association cannot send a representative asking that it should forward its opinions on certain questions of sheep "export. It was agreed to appoint a -committee to reply to the questions on "the] , programme. .Mr 'Peacock brought up the " question of Government encouragement to the breeding of army remounts.
