THE POSTAL REVENUE. WELLINGTON April 27.
The postal'' revenue collected during the past quarter -was £127,227, as compared i with £119,925 during the last quarter of the previous year. Wellington contributed j £19,762, Auckland £15,264, Chxistchurch £12,636, ' and Dunedin £13,587. As to the savings banks' deposits, the deposits in excess of the withdrawals amounted to ! £93,231, whilst in the corresponding period for the" previous year the excess over the ' withdrawals was £24,805. ' -
