News has been received from Waikaw • that on Sunday, during' the absence of Mi Kendy, of St&y Royd, a coloured man, " who is believed to be insane, threatened to shoot the Misses Kendy, who tool? refuge in a meathouse, where they remained for some hours till the man, left for the 'hills, still retaining his gun. „________» m^ mm . «„
