Weights declared at 9 p.m. for Second Day's Races. Acceptances till 10.30 p.m.— Belfield Hurdles, 7s_6d; Stewards' Welter, 10s; Waikaura Trot, lsov ; Henderson Memorial Stakes, 30s ; Tradesmen's Handicap, 103 ; Brookstead Trot, 7s 6d; Waitaki Handicaxs, lsov. After the declaration of the weights, the winner of any Handicap Race, or Races, of under the value of ;£SO collectively, shall carry a -penalty of 3lb; the winner of any Handicap R^ce, or Races, of the value of £50 collectively and over, a penalty of 51b. All Entries and Acceptances must be addressed to the Secretary, and contain entrance money, description, age and pedigree of horse, and colours of rider. , Five per cent, will be deducted from the gross . amount' of advertised stakes, in accordance with the programme, for expenses. - Races run under the Rules of Racing, a3 adopted by the Dixnedin Jockey Club. Trotting Races to be run under the Rules of ' the South Island Trotting Association. * This programme has been passed by the Dunedin Jockey Club Committee and South Is--land Trotting Association.
