At yesterday's "wool sales crossbredsMvere firm and merinos irregular. Many lots were withdrawn.

March 22

At the wool sales yesterday there was a slight improvement on the price of the two previous days.

March 23. The wool market is Hat. At the sales merinos were largely withdrawn.

March 25.

The quantity of wool sold to Home buyers is 83,000 bales, to Continental buyer* 59,000, and to American 10,000 bales. The quantity sent forward h 109,000 bales. There was a quiet closing. Compared with the January .sales merinos declined 10 to 12£ per cent; medium and low cros&breds 10 to 15 per cent.

At the wool sales the following prices were realised: — iloeraki, 7£d ; Stonyhurst, B|d.
