Messrs Wright, Stephenson, and Co. last Thursday, offered consignments ot thoroughbred stock on account of the Hon. George M'Lean, Warrington, and Mr A. iA.. M'Master, Tokarahi. Mr M'Lean's stock was c;ot by Musketry, and Mr M 'Master's by the Elderslie stud horse Stepniak. The attendance was disappointing, considering the excellent reputation Warrington justly possesses, and prices ruling, with one exception, were very much of the " gift " order. Mr M'Lean's yearlings were first offered, with, the following results — viz. : Chestnut filly (foaled 12th November, 1898), by Musketry, out of Mistral, to Mr C. G. Dalgety, at f:sgs. Bay filly (foaled 24th November, 1898), by Musketry, out of Dione, to Mr James M'G-innis, wt 29gs. Chestnut filly (foaled 25th October, 1898), hy Musketry, out of Mist, withdrawn, but for private sale still.
