King Harold's stock were prominent at the Gore and Tapanui meetings and succeeded in jtnaking the trotting events interesting items. "Waimea, the winner of the Hack Race at the Gore meeting, is by Wolverine, the New Zealand Cup winner. The well-known trotting mare SilVermane lias been mated with King Harold. Tot White has a good average mare in First Venture, and his deserved successes at Tapanui "were well received. Besides.Tot has been waiting a long lime, for the tide to turn. | The programme of the Tahuna Park Trotting meeting is receiving considerable attention at the hands of owners, and when the nominations ©ppear the names of several good performers from thcae parts will be found included in the list. Clinkei is nicely treated in the Halswell Hurdle Handicap, and Dundee will require to be at his best to successfully concede a stone •nil 131b to the Ironworker gelding.
