SOUTHLAND
The Minister for Railways has decided to ' run a train from Invercargill to the Bluff after the trrival of the express on Melbourne steamer clays, thus giving a clear run through to passengers, and a longer time for correspondence.
A 10-roomed house at Mimihau, occupied by William Murray, destroyed by fire yesterday, was insured in the South British for £400.
The Bank of New Zealand ot Fortrose was entered and robbed of £500 in notes last night. The room of the bank agent in the hotel was entered, and the keys of the strong room and safe taken from his pocket while he was a&leep. The police expect to effect an early arrest.
