TO THE EDITOR. Sin,—As a shareholder in the above company I would like to ask when dredging operations will commence. It was announced last November that a start would be made about the middle of December. It is now some two months •past that date, and no word of a start beingmade 3ret. Why this delay?—l am etc., Anxious. to the editor. Sir,—ln reply to inquiry by " Anxious," asking when the above-named dredge will start, for his information I have pleasure in stating tLat the dredge Had her trial run last week, and worked well, and I believe is now at steady hard work. If " Anxious" wishes for any further information, yoii are at liberty to furnish him with my name and addvess, when I wil.l be pleased to give him all particulars should he write to me, as I specially visited the dredge and claim some time ago, and am personally acquainted with most of the directors. —I am, etc., February 14. .
