Skey supplies the following abstract of weather at Dunedin for January: — ■ Mean barometer, 29.831 in. Mean elastic force of vapour, .335 iii. Mean temperature in shade, 55.4. Mean terrestrial radiation, 43. Daily velocity of wind, 219 miles. Mean amount of cloud (from 1 to 10), 6.2. Total rainfall, 3.674 in. Number of days on which rain fell, 14.
