ALHAMBRA THEATRE

The new programme presented at the Alhambra Theatre on Saturday night met with universal acceptance at the hands of the audience. One of the most attractive items was an act entitled " Fun in a Barroom," in which the Leslie Bros, appeared. Apart from the fun with which the act was invested, the music produced by the brothers was of a first-class kind, and well deserved the recalls it received. Sir George Williamson was very amusing in a new series of black-face specialties, and the other performers contributed their full share towards the evening's entertainment. The patriotic songs came in for special recognition, and at the close of one of these three lusty cheers were given for General French. The usual farce concluded the performance.
