THE GEORGIA MAGNET.
On Friday next, in the Princess Theatre, Miss Annie May Abbott, known almost all over 'the world as the Little Georgia Magnet, opens a season of five nights, giving an exhibition which our contemxDoianes speak of as being amusing, entertaining, ana yo s&ssed of distinct novelty. Miss Abbott disclaims the possession of more than ordinary physical strength, yet she performs feats which have astonished and puzzled her audiences all over the world. While she does the apparently impossible, she performs the tests of her power quite openly, and under the closest surveillance of a committee invited from her audience. These feats constitute a continual source of wonder and amusement. The ease with which she executes herculean feats of strength would be surprising if perfoimed by a stiong man, but when accomplished by a woman weighing something like 1001b, and in such a manner as to preclude the exercise of physical strength, they enter the realm of the mysterious.
