A Tricycle Built for Five.

The "bicycle built for two" was once well known, owing to the chorus of a certain popu-

lar song. History not only repeats, but surpasses, itself. A Scotch gentleman who is blessed with numerous offspring has had a tricycle made in which he can carry four of the juvenile members of his family. The proud parent industriously working his machine is a familiar sight in more than one northern town.

The nursemaid's C3 r cle also has been seen in some of the London parks of late, a threewheeler, with the child or children carried in front in a basket with a seat fitted therein.
