Secretaries are requested to forward particulars of games plajea and or forthcoming raatohes. TAIERI v. CALEDONIAN. The Caledonian and Taieri Clubs met on Saturday afternoon on the former's green, four links each. Rain set in very heavily at the eighteenth head, only one rink completing the game. The Caledonians having stich a strong lead victory was assured. The visitors were loud in their praises of the condition of the gieen, and hearty exchanges of good fellowship terminated the proceedings. Caledonian No. 2 — J. A. Kirby, G. Walker, H. Smeaton, A. Morrison (s) 25, played Taieri No. 2— D. Stevens, A. -Wedderspoon, W. Melrose, T. Mackie (s) 16. Caledonian No. 3 — J. Wedderspoon, W. Alloo, G. Wedderspoon, J. Cowie (s) 30, played J. Allen, J. Dryden, W. Turnbull, D. Campbell ia) 10. Caledonian No. 4 — J. Easton, R. Powley, C. E. Keast, G-. Capstick (s) 20, played Taieri No. 4 — A. M'Leod, J. Campbell, A. Dickson, W. Carswell (s) 22. Totals: Caledonian, 105; -Taieri, 61.
