SHOOTING MATCH .

NAYALS' TRIANGULAR HATCH,

A team from the JJuiiedin Naval Artillery fired a very enjoyable triangular match against teams representing the Lyttelton Naval Artillery and Awarua Rifles (late Bluff Navals). The Dunedin men won the match with a score of 59G, Awarua coming second with 530, and Lyttelton third with 500. The Dunedin and Lyttelton Navale fired with Martini-Henry carbines, and Awarua used the Martini-Henry rifle. The conditions were 200 (kneeling) and 500 yards, 10 shots at each. The following are the scores : —

The North Dunedin Rifles fired on Saturday last -their second competition for the Company's Belt and other prizes. Conditions: Ranges, 200 and 500 yards; 10 shots with two optional sigkters at each distance ; kneeling at 200 yards. The following were the highest scores: —
