CHLOROFORMED BY BURGLARS. MASTERTON, December 6. An extraordinary outrage occurred here at an early hour this morning, when burglars entered the residence of James Coradine, Perry street, and chloroformed the whole of the inmates (five in number). They robbed the house of all the money they could find, not touching wavhes,

jewellery, or other articles: Altogether about £20 was secured. When the inmates M*ere aroused, investi* gat ion showed that a linen rag saturated with chloroform had been placed on ot near each sleeper.
