MEETING OF CREDITORS.
Ec Joseph" Samuel Bayne. A meeting of creditors in the estate of Joseph j Samuel Baync, of Tapanui, labourer, was to | have been held in the Official Assignee's ofEce [ on the 21st inst., but lapsed for want of a quorum. The statement of claim set forth that the total liabilities amounted to £130 11s 9d; assets, The principal unsecured creditors are: — W. Quin, £2.0 5s Id ; Jas. Mairs's executors, £20 123 4d; T. J. Quayle, £15; ' A. Munyaid, £6 7s 6d; W. Simmonds, £5 6s 9d; J. B. M'Alister, £4 3s Id; J. T. Burrell, £3 3s 7d ; AY. Sinclair, .x 2 15s lOd; Thomson and Beattie, £5 10s 8d ; M'Lean and Co., £20 11s Bd. Mr Gallaway appeared for M'Lean and Co., and Mr Matheson, of that firm, was also in attendance. - The Assignee explained that the bankrupt did not appear, his solicitor, Mr Sinclair, of Tapanui, having written down stating that Bayne had no money. It was decided to adjourn the meeting till Tuesday next, and that a summons and conduct money be forwarded to bankrupt to ensure' j his attendance. «
