AUCKLAND, November 25. The Spring carnival of the Auckland Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club was held this afternoon on the Domain in perfect weather. The attendance was about 3000. The racing was rather tame. The following are the results of tho principal events: — 100 yds Flat.— Wati-ou, 9yds, 1; Gilmour (Taranaki), 7yds, 2; Mayson, 7iyds, 3. Time, 10 2-ssec. Half-mile Flat. — Maysoa, 55yds, 1 ; Anderson, 20yds, 2; Gilmour, 55yds, 3. Time, lmin 53 2-ssec. Long Jump. — Brownlic (Dunedin), 20ft 2in, 1; Styche, 19ft OJin, 2; Madill, 19ft, 3. Two-mile Alliance Bicycle Championship of New Zealand.— H. H. Brook 1, H. A. Coates 2, C. Hennmg 3. Time, sinin 37 4-ssec. Thomson (Christchurch) also Btarted, but his pedals struck the ground when rounding the corners, and threw him out of the race. He^was only used to riding .on banked tracks. High Jump.-=-Laurie, Gft lOin (inclusive of 2in handicap), 1; Barclay, sft 71in (inclusive of s*in handicap} 2 ; Brownlie, sft 7in, 3.

The Dunedin Amateur Boating Club got off their 100 Yards Running Handicap the other evening, in the presence of a number of spectators. The event was got off in four heats on the overbridge, and out of the 32 men competing eight qualified for the final. The result was:— P. Mason, 7yds, 1; W. Olson, scr, 2; J. R. Wilson, 10yds, 3. Also started : F. Hutton syds, C. Parker 7yds, W. Rudkin Byds, A. Laweon l©yde, R. L. Cal-

dow 11yds. The handicapper had treated Mason rather well. Olson just beat Wilson on the tape for second place, the others close up.
