AUCKLAND, August 29. The Auckland representative team of footballers to tour the south left Auckland la«t evening by the 20 minutes past 10 train for Onehunga, in order to be in readiness to take their departure . by the Rotoiti this morning-. Hundreds of enthusiasts assembled at the station to bid good-bye to the representatives^ and to wish them good luck in the south. The team is composed as follows:— Full back, G. Grilletfc; three-quarters — Absolum,"M'Pike, Harrison, M'Gregor, "Pillinger; five-eighths, Phelan; half back, Young; wing forwards — Wilson and Laing; forwards — Irvine, Gillett, Scott, O. M'Gregor, Cunningham, Murray, Gallagher, Wilson (City), -and Tyler. The team will go right through to Lyttelton by tho Rotoiti, and leaving Christchurcb. by the express train on Thursday morning, will arrive at Dunedin the same evening at 9 o'clock.
