Otago "Witness Seventh Problem and Solution Tourney,
This competition is now open, and will close on November 30 next. It is for original twomove problems which have not hitherto been published. The prizes are: First prize JB2 2 0 Second prize 1 11 6 A prize of 10s 6d will be awarded to the solver who gains the highest number of points. Not more than three problems from each composer will be accepted for competition. Problems from beyond New Zoaland will be accepted when the letter containing them bears a post mark date not later than November 30 next. The problems will, at the option ol competitors, be published either under the composer's name or under a motto. Problems which are before publication found to be unwound will not be published.
