" INVEROARGSLL, August 2. The following is the Southland grain markei report:—Wheat.—No change to note. Fowl wheat is in request at la lOd f.o.b. at the Bluff. Oats.—The inquiry for shipment Home, haa ceased, and prices show a decline. The offerings are small, and prices ruling are Is Id to la ljd at sidings. It is doubtful if these figures will hold when spring threshing commences about the end-of this month, the stocks m stores being very large. Chaff, £2 per ton Invercargill potatoes.—The demand has much improved, but without any advance in price Value, £2 per ton. Invercargill ryegrass (farmers lines), Is 3d to Is 6d per bushel; flour £6 10s; oatmeal, £7; pollard, £3 10s; bran £3. The demand for bran and pollard remains very keen, and supplies are short.
