Oats. — There is an inquiry for good oats. The bulk offering at present consists principally of fair feed. We- quote : Extra good, Is 4Jd to Is 5Jd; good, Is 3Jd to Is 4d ; inferior and medium, Is lid to Is 21d (sacks extra, net). Wheat. — Prime milling in fair demand. Velvet, 2s 5d to 2s 7d; Tuscan, 2s 4Jd to 2s 7tl ; medium sorts, up to 2s 41d ; fowl feed, Is 9cl to 2s (sacks in, terms).
Barley. — Almost unsaleable meantime. Chaff. — Good demand for prime at up to £2 7s 6d to £2 12s 6d; good, £2 2s 6d to d& ss; light and medium, 32s 6d to 37s 6d per ton (sacks extra). Potatoes. — The market over-supplied. Beat Derwents, 25s to 27s 6d per ton.
Sheepskins. — Moderate-sized catalogues were submitted at Tuesday's sale. Competition was keen, mid prices were equal to those obtained last week. Green crossbreds, 3s 4d to 4s 4d; do merinos, 2s 9d to 3s 9d ; dry crossbreds fullwoolled, 3s lOd to 5s sd; do halfbred, 2s 2d to 3s j lOcl ; do pelts, 7d to la Sd ; (Jo merinos, 3s 6d to 4s lOd. I Rabbitskins. — Prices realised on Monday were on a par with prices obtained last week. Best selected winter does, to 2s Id ; winters, 18|d to 23Jd; autumns, 17* dto 18|d; Bummers (mixed), to 14Jd. Hides. — Inquiry yeTy good. Tallow. — All coming forward is readily taken up by local buyers. Prime rendered, 14s to 16s 6d; medium and inferior, 10s to 12s 6d; rough fat, 8s 6d to 10s 9d.
