SECOND MAGNETIC GOLD DREDGING COMPANY (LIMITED).

A meeting of the directors of the above company was held on Tuesday at the office of the secretary, Mr R. T. Wheeler, iun. Mr Ta!boys was in the chair. Tenders were received from local firms for the construction of ladder and buckets, the tender of Messrs Stevenson; and Poole being accepted. The engineer, Mr P. W. Payne, being present, was instructed to notify Messrs Stevenson and Poole of the acceptance of their tender, and to use every endeavour to facilitate the completion of the dredge as a whole.
