THE LITTLE DARLING.
My love is but a child as yet, In rosy ways her path is set; I can't withstand her eyes of jet, She's such a -little darling ! "When we are walking out at night, She holds my arm so close and tight; The darkness seems to give her fright, The timid little darling! I often think her very shy ; At each TemaTk she'll softly sigh, And oh! the love light in her eye, The winsome little darling 1 When we're alone, and it is dark, (With no one nigh to make remark), I'll clasp her waist, and for a lark I'll kiss the little darling! •
