The June number of the Triad presents its -readers with a musical supplement— "Cavatina," by Joachim Raff. Throughout the journal are scattered reproductions of characteristic photographs of scenery, Invercargill, Ashburton, the Buller Gorge, all being done justice to. There are also come extremely dainty portrait studies. "Our Fearful Firelese Fate" alliteratively deal; with Lord Kelvin's miserable theory of the exhaustion of the world's fuel supply, and several other interesting questions of general attractiveness are dealt with, aa well as the usual "Soience Jottings," peripatetic colonial notes, literary, artistic, and musical items.
The thrifty housekeeper is never without Liebig Company's Extract. Tho cheapest stock got, it goes such a long way*
