The Barewood Quartz Mining Company ap» plied to surrender special claim, sections H and 5, block VI, and 7 and 8, block VII, Nenthorn. — Surrender accepted. The surrender by Robert Lee of hiß licensed holding in respect of section Ba, block VII, Nenthorn, was also accepted. From Westport last week the Westport Coal Company shipped 5050 tons coal, and the Cardiff Company 813 tons, making a total of 5E63. AN EXTENDED LEASE.
