An unusual scene waa witnessed recently in one of the largest and poorest parishes in Sheffield. The Vicar of Brighteide, his curate, and churchwardens were in charge of a steam, roundabout at G-rimesthorpe Feast, the vicar and churchwardens taking the money, and the curate looking after the working of " fche machines." 1 The roundabouts were kindly lent by the proprietor from 5.30 till 8.30 "for the purpose of rabing money for a new school.
