THE TYSER LINE.
From private sources we learn that the London board of directors of 'the T>>er Line (Limited) has decided to considerably increase the company's command of steam tonnage. For this purpose four powerful steamers are being built, one of which, the s.s. Tomoana, was successfully launched at Sir James Laing's yards, Sunderland, on the 11th March. This will give the Tyser line a fleet of 10 higa-claSo steamers, fitted specially for the conveyance of frozen meat and produce, all of which will be available as may be required for -the steam service recently inaugurated by the company from New York. We think the above information will be read with satisfaction by the commercial community at large, which has benefited to a considerable extent from the enterprise shown by the Tyser line in the past, and we have no doubt that by wishing that company every success in this its latest development we are voicing the sentiments of the majority of our business men. •-Hawke's Bay Herald.
