OTTAWA, April 12. The Canadian Government are introducing a bill giving power to co-operate with Britain and the Australasian colonies inthe construction of a Pacific cable. April 13. Sir Charles Tupper, leader of the Opposition, congratulated Sir W Laurier, the Premier, on his action with regard to the introduction of a bill authorising thtT construction of the Pacific cable, which, he said, would early provo a source of. revenue*
