REVENUE RETURNS,
A SURPLUS OF HALF-A-MILLION EXPECTED. WELLINGTON, April 13. The revenue returns for the colony for the year, so far as received, are expected to realise, if not slightly exceed, the Pre* mier's animated surplus of half-a-million.
In reaponse to Mr Balfour's recent appeal for the endowment of medical education and research Sir Frederick Wills, Bart., has foti warded to the treasurer of Guy's Hospital^ donation of £5000 for the medical school,
