It was ' zesolved to_ in struct the surfacemen to resume ' their duties on Monday, 'the 17th inst. A letter was read from Messrs J. Weiper and G-. ! Boss, re deviation at Sandymount, 'agreeing ! to the following terms : Culvert to be lifted and ' new road fenced, and the sum of £20 to be paid for compensation for land taken. — It was resolved to accept Messrs Weiper and Ross's offer. Accounts for £23 10s--10d were passed for payment.
