THE DISASTER TO THE PEARL* ING JFLJSET. COOKTOWN, April 10. A cutter has returned from the scene of the late disaster to the pearling fleets. Her captain reports that his crew buried i 40 bodies, including those of four whites. One of the latter is supposed to be Captain Claremont, of the lightship. Fish, and wreckage were found 40ft above high water mark, while trees and vegetation were all levelled for 40 miles along the coast.
