TREBLE DUX, £16 16s.

As above, but with third furrow that cas. be detached if temporarily short of horses. From James F. Ayson 1 , Kaihiku. January 10, 1899. I worked a Double-furrow Dux Plough in the '97 ' season with every satisfaction, completing my ploughing • with three horses. I then purchased a Treble, which with four hqrßes showed me a further economy, and I ploughed 200 acres. I am well pleased with the ploughs and can recommend them. From Begg 8r03., Hillend. December 30, 1893. The Three-furrow Ploughs we got from you are working satisfactorily. From Andrew Gibson, Garston. January 2+, 1899. Re plough. I must Bay I am very veil pleased with its work, and I highly recommend it. From James Fox, Springbank. January 21, 1899. The Three-furrow Dux Plough I bought from you, June 1, 1898, is giving me satisfaction in every way; four horses work it; tho draught ia not ' heavy. I can recoaimend it as a useful implement. From Ja3. Smith and Sons, Greenfield. January 9, 1889. Re the Threo-furrow Dux Ploughs. They have given us entire satisfaction. For hill sides they are far and away before tho Double Furrows, as they stick in the ground instead of sliding down the hill. They also bury the weeds and stubble particularly' well. We got over our autumn and spring; ploughing with them in good time, which we 'could not have done without them, and at a very much reduced cost, one man with, five horses doing an average of four acres per day, as against four horses with Double Furrow doing two and three-quarter acres, the extra cost for the third furrow being, therefore Is 6d. The great advantage, "however, 'ia getting the work over and dona in good time. We got eight of them frcm. you, And are of . opinion they have repaid us their price already — i.e., 12 weeks at 30s per week ;' the ploughs being apparently as good as ever. " ' From Jae. Kelly, Riversdale. January 7, 1899. Re Dux Ploughs. I am thoroughly well pleased with the work done by them on. lea and stubble last year. I ploughed 400 acres lea, using two Three-furrow Dux Ploughs and one Double Furrow of tho best colonial make, using four horsos each in all three ploughs, and I could not sco any difference in draught between two and three furrow ploughs. Th* crops (oats and wheat) are equally .good on work done by all three ploughs They are also a first' class stubble plough. I consider them the best imported plough I have seen. From" James Holms, Waimahaka, Wyndham* August 15, 1593. I have given the Dux a trial and am very; much pleased with it.
