[Answered by a dulj qua.ified Veterinary Surjaon Queries inu~t bo received by MONDAY night to cmure replj in the succeeding issue.]
W. W. — According to the description given of your foal's ailment, it would indicate umbilical hernia, which may disappear as she gets older and outgrows it without any surgical treatment. Wart. — You forgot to say whether the warts had a narrow or broad base at their attachment. One of them being situated on the face, probably in close proximity to the eye, it would be- unwise to use the strong pieparations necessary to remove it, therefore your best course Is to call in a qualified "veterinary sivrgeon to remove them at once by an opeiation, and it i 8 preferable to have it done at this season of the year. K. W. J. — Injuries to the head are doubtless largely instrumental in inducing affections presenting symptoms? somewhat similar to those described in your dog, which is probably suffering from chronic meningitis. Over-he iting during working may have caused it, or disease of the kidneys may have had something to do with it. The chances of recovery, even after a lengthened course of medicinal taeatment, are very remote.
