Replying to an address of welcome, he said that until Australia ! was federated she would not take her rightful pi. o amongst the councils of the nations of the world. An Anglo-Saxon League was within the sphere of practical politics, and whan it was consummated , it would »o the mightiest influence known towards the permanent peace of the j civilised world.
