AUSTIN.—On the 29th March, at High street, Timaru, Ellen, dearly beloved wife of James Austin, jun., Bankside, Albury, youngest daughter of William and Isabella Stewart, Flaxburn, Orari, Canterbury, and sister of Mrs D. B: Hutton, Howe 6treet; aged 31 yea. 5. Deeply regretted. BURT.—On the 6th April, at his residence, Harrington street, Port Chalmers, of inflammation of the lungs, J. D. S. Burt, engineer. Deeply regretted. BOYD.—on the 9th April, William Boyle Boyd (local manager New Zealand Shipping Company) ; aged 56. By cable from London. CRAIG.—On tho 29th March, 1899, at Springvale, Mataura, Frances Anne, beloved wife of James Craig; aged 61 years. FRY.—On the 9th April, at his late residence, A» Spring Bank, Waikouaiti, Richard Fry; aged 83 years. HAY.—On the 31st March, at his residence, George Btrect, Dunedin, John Ferguson Hay, traveller (late merchant, Glasgow), beloved husband of Sarah L. Hay; aged 55 years. IN MEMORIAM.
