We have already given an extended report of the proceedings at tho second reunion of the Otago Early Settlers' Association to celebrate the jubilee of the arrival of the ships Ajax, Mary, and Mariner in 1849. The event was a most interesting one, and it may tafely be said that moro passengers by each vessel met each other in the Choral Hull than have jinet since they parted from shipboard 50 yoaw ago. The attendance of so many early settlers, from great distances in many cafes, was a great compliment to tho asbooiatfon, and ia a direct encouragement to them in carrying out their objects.
