FORBURY NOTES,
There are only two horses in training in Stephenson's stable at present — Visionary and the disappointing Benson. The latter is having a slight spell, but Visionary is doing good work in view of Tuapeka. Mr Goodman's team have been putting in strong work lately. With Black and Red, Pilch and Toss, Clinker, and probably Cherrystone this trainer-owner will show a strong, hand at Tuapeka and Gore. Jackson has only Blazer in work, the speedy Belle Glair being in the sale list. Blazer, who is a trifle on the big side, has been entered for the Oakleigli Plate, five and a-half furlongs, run at Melbourne next month. Should fclie handicappers treat him anyway fairly the speedy' son of St. Glair Will bo shipped at the end of the month for " t'other side." Plotter is lame. Hanking lias turned out Lady J Le»r. Miirella is this stable is coming on nicely, having completely recovered from her attack of influenza.
